The Skeo 3D liner features an anatomy-specific geometry, which is based on the natural contour of the residual limb thanks to its innovative shape.

Product Family Skeo
A new dimension for fit and comfort

The 6Y87 Skeo 3D liner for transfemoral amputees features an innovative shape for users. A transfemoral residual limb typically exhibits an especially large amount of soft tissue. Optimally suited to this anatomical characteristic, the Skeo 3D initially tapers at the distal end. The tapered shape gently cushions the soft tissue, rather than constricting and pushing it upwards. However, the upper section of the liner is cylindrical in shape, thereby supporting the residual limb from all sides. A drop-shaped textile inlay on the outside of the liner serves as a visual and tactile positioning aid and can be used to attach the KISS lanyard system.

3D geometry

The upper end of the liner is cylindrical in shape, thereby supporting the residual limb from all sides. On the other hand, the liner tapers in the distal area so that the soft tissue of the thigh is gently cushioned.

Matrix
