Superior comfort

Special gel cushions integrated in the inner socket of the SiOCX TF protect even the most sensitive areas of the residual limb. Using silicone with varying degrees of hardness together with a soft socket brim increases the level of comfort. The flexible dorsal section allows for a comfortable sitting position on hard surfaces.

Highest level of hygiene

The inner socket is made of HTV medical grade silicone of the highest documented purity, making it particularly skin-friendly. It is breathable to reduce perspiration and is also hypoallergenic. The socket can easily be cleaned using just soap and water and is sterilised by immersing it in boiling water.

Improved sense of surroundings

As a bridge between the surroundings and the residual limb, the SiOCX frame socket allows for an enhanced perception of environmental stimuli. For example, a better feel for the surface of furniture enables the wearer to sit more securely, especially on narrow seats. Other environmental influences, such as contact, or even objects in trouser pockets, can also be sensed.

Greater flexibility while sitting

The outer socket of the SiOCX TF has flexible regions made of Dyneema on the back, making comfortable sitting a matter of course. These areas also prevent the socket from twisting while sitting, so that air is not drawn in. The same applies to the SiOCX TF Pro frame socket, which adapts even better to the sitting position thanks to larger flexible areas.

Maximum freedom of movement

The flexible silicone socket brim perfectly adapts to the motion of the residual limb for maximum freedom of movement and a high degree of comfort. This is further enhanced by the ergonomic design of the carbon outer socket.

Optimum suspension and functionality

The inner socket made of medical grade silicone provides optimum, reliable suspension to the residual limb. This, together with the firm connection to the carbon outer socket via several screws, allows the user to optimally transmit force to the prosthesis and control it securely.
